So, now I’m in the thick of it.  I really can’t put it off anymore, not that I’ve been trying.  I need to release myself back into my real work.  I am a composer.  Every day.  Every hour.  Every moment.  I’ve got melodies in the dewy corners of my eyes.  My fingertips jump with ideas.  My mind races with harmonies and orchestrations.  This IS WHO I AM!  (I’m sorry to shout.)

It is just the simple truth of my existence.  Since I was oh, I’ll say, four-years-old I played piano and sang and thumped and hummed through all the life stuff that sometimes gets in the way.  I am about to explode with the pent up longing of a good, solid cadence.

It’s coming.  I can feel it brewing.  And, it’s gonna be SPECTACULAR!
